After a hectic winter season, we give a final push of work to bring Cinderella back to the Gallo Center for the Arts. As in this timeless tale, CWB dares to live a dream which is an important foundation of the Company's continued success; the dancers desire to have their own voice as a ballet company. They are an essential part of the building blocks that is taking the Company to new heights. It is after all, part of the fabric of their lives to share in this successful venture. As well, they still keep a sense of wonder and allow themselves to fulfill their dreams of working in a Company of their own.

This is what makes the leadership of such an organization worth every effort. A success shared and enjoyed. Much of the creative power of an artist comes at an early age and it is crucial that this development be channeled and encouraged for the future of any entity. The story of Cinderella is a metaphor for Central West Ballet's journey to the stars. In a world often viewed as gloom and doom, a sense of wonder can transform the mind and bring goodness to any community.

A dreamer starts with just that; a dream. Honorable dreams can move the hearts of men, and hearts can move mountains.
