Brian Leonard is one of the most unique talents at Central West Ballet. With an already established and distinct russian quality in his dancing, Leonard caught the eyes of audiences in Central West's 2008-2009 Season. "When Brian first joined CWB", Daveluy says, "he instantly became a favorite in our audience base. It was literally an overnight sensation. Brian just has that unique quality, one just gets drawn to him when he appears onstage". Leonard, who is back for CWB's 2010-2011 Season, has been highly praised by Daveluy as a great talent in the making. "Brian has that magnetic effect on the audience, that sort of thing cannot be manufactured". Russian trained, Leonard also has a natural slavic quality. Lengthy, long legs with high cheek bones, Leonard has already a secure natural technique. His dancing is impressive and precise and his instincts are highly developed. "His style of dancing is natural for him", Daveluy explains, "I have been careful not to remove this natural penchant while building up everything needed to enhance his strengths". Leonard is a conscientious worker and dedicates himself to every role. His return to Central West as the Blue Bird in The Sleeping Beauty was a successful event both as a partner and soloist dancer. Daveluy says Leonard has enormous potential as a distinct talent in dance. "Brian is a gentleman", Daveluy says, "he is a respectful dancer and enthusiastic in rehearsals, he has many qualities that make him a winning number onstage".

Brian Leonard is the youngest headliner among the male dancers of Central West Ballet. Leonard has a great sense of technical intuition and is rapidly becoming a bright performer with a strong stage presence.
Leonard was an instant favorite during Central West Ballet's production of a Rat Pack in Revue, giving the audience laughs and genuine crowd pleasing performances. His comic talents are juxtaposed with his suave like movement and grace. Leonard can be charming and elegant, yet can handle comedy in a manner reminiscent of great comics like Jerry Lewis. This gives Brian Leonard a wide range on the stages of the Gallo Center for the Arts.

Born in California, Elizabeth Campbell joined Central West Ballet in 2008 and immediately established herself has a strong performer with distinct qualities as an actress. "Elizabeth is a light onstage", says Artistic Director René Daveluy, "she has very strong presence and completely commits herself to every role she performs". Campbell is a petite dancer with a luminous appearance. She excels in romantic partnering numbers and has also a wonderful energy. "She brings focus to a performance when featured, "says Daveluy, "it is a kind of quality that cannot be learned, Elizabeth has that naturally from within". Elizabeth Campbell has performed with Joseph Adkins in Daveluy's Romancing the Stage, dancing a very romantic and haunting Pas de Deux with skill and abandonment. "It was mezmerizing", Daveluy explains, "and that is why Elizabeth is so special onstage." Campbell's luminous charisma on stage gives her romantic depth. A great partner in the making, Campbell is someone with a wide emotional range as an artist. Campbell gave the audience a thoughtful display of deep and moving dancing in Central West Ballet's Rat Pack in Revue, delivering true to life emotions with partner Joseph Adkins.

Campbell's ability to reach within gives her great potential in character driven roles. Yet she can be at home in abstract forms of dance given the opportunity to extend her many qualities as a dancer. Elizabeth Campbell is one of Central West Ballet's newest Principal Dancers. After a stunning 2009-2010 Season as a Soloist, Campbell was promoted and has a promising future ahead of her.
